The Station is a new 170-acre mixed-use district that creates a harmonious balance between work, play and life. Conveniently located along President George Bush Highway, The Station is located in the prospering community of Sachse, TX. At buildout, the community will include two beautiful, modern, and family-oriented parks alongside a wide-range of shops and restaurants. The Station will be home to over 36 acres of park and open space, including significant improvements to Sachse’s existing 34-acre Heritage Park. Heritage Park will be home to large open lawn areas, a splash pad, large playground, amphitheater, miles of walking trails and much more — all within a short walk from your front door.

The Station’s recently completed Commons Park spans almost two acres and features an open lawn, a one-of-a-kind natural wood playground, cornhole, ping-pong, picnic area and an open air pavilion fit for a relaxing afternoon with friends and family.

The Station is located in the City of Sachse in Dallas County, Texas.

Minutes west is Firewheel Town Center and Firewheel Golf Park, which includes 63 holes of golf, promising challenges for all skill levels. Lake Ray Hubbard is just a few miles away and encompasses over 22,000 acres of water and lakeside activities.   

The Station resides in the highly acclaimed Garland Independent School District and is served by three schools – Robert B. Sewell Elementary School, B.G. Hudson Middle School and Sachse High School. Each school’s curriculums are designed to meet your child’s needs and progress them into the future, with Sachse High School ranking as the top high school in GISD. All three schools are located within one walkable mile of The Station.

Current plans for The Station include 273 single-family homes and almost 800 multifamily apartment homes.

The Station has teamed up with two of the top builders in North Texas, Ashton Woods Homes and K. Hovnanian Homes. 

Lot sizes are approximately 40’ x 95’ for single-family detached homes and 22’ x 80’ for townhomes.

At The Station, HOA dues are $1200 a year for single-family detached homes and $3,000 a year for townhomes. This includes the maintenance of common areas, amenities and lifestyle programs or community events.  Townhome dues, specifically, also cover insurance for the exterior of the building and landscape maintenance.

A public improvement district, or PID, is a special district created by City Council action through the State Legislature of Texas. The Sachse Public Improvement District No. 1 was created in 2018 and encompasses all of the land within The Station and is utilized to pay for improvements and services over and above those typically provided by the city. A PID assessment is levied on each property within the District and is billed annually but may be prepaid at any time.
